One my favorite aspects of using GoFaxer is the fact that I don’t have to download any software.

The other night, my girlfriend asked me to help her download some songs onto iTunes with a gift card that she had. This is pretty easy to do. But before I could do so I had to download an update to the software.

So I clicked on the icon to make the download happen. The little green bar showed how much of the download was complete. I waited. And I waited some more. The Internet at her home is really slow.

Finally after like 10 minutes of waiting, I then had to restart the computer. Again, I had to wait another few minutes while everything rebooted.

Then I was ready to actually do what I had come on there to do—download some music.

The same is the case for many fax to email services. They’re easy to use, but they require software to be downloaded to your computer. That one step adds a bit of hassle to your day.
