Before you really get down to business, however, take a little time to really personalize everything on your desktop, making it fun and easy to use.

The first thing I have to recommend is getting rid of Internet Explorer and downloading Firefox. It’s the best Internet browser out there. When you start using this browser, set up bookmarks for every website that you use regularly. When you use this browser use the tabs function rather than opening a new window for every website that you want to look at. It’s the easiest way to manage multiple sites.

For all of your music that you have on cd or mp3, you’ll want to download them all onto iTunes, clearly the best music player in the industry. And for listening to Internet radio, I highly recommend Pandora. Check it out. It’s the bomb!

I highly recommend that you download new and fun desktop images from this site. If you have an Apple computer you can actually set it to change the picture every day. If not, remember to manually change your pic every week or so. Variety is the spice of life. Keeping your desktop image new and fresh will help you keep your ideas fresh as well.
