Known as the Atom 230 and the Atom N270, the processors were debuted in Taiwan to attendees of the Computex trade show. What’s new about the new Atom chips is that they are particularly suited to smaller machines as well as smaller environmental impacts. The Atoms have a longer battery life, create very low heat, and have a smaller overall environmental footprint.
