Microsoft is now allowing the public to preview its 2008 edition of Windows Small Business Server. The server is designed to help small and medium sized businesses integrate their office technology and computer functions in a single coordinated server. Designed for companies with 75 or fewer workstations, Windows Small Business Server has been available since 2003. A limited time trial version of WSBS 2008 is available for download at microsoft.com.

The trial software allows businesses to test the waters of the 2008 edition free of cost for sixty days. Microsoft is also providing what it calls “Virtual Labs,” which allow users to play around with some of the new features on the yet-to-be-released Windows Small Business Server 2008.
