I recently read a great Ezine Article by Elizabeth Morgan about Internet fax. The article points out two important advantages to this type of service:
The first is the savings in costs and time, which are really the same thing. No longer must you buy or rebuy traditional fax machines that have become a necessary standard in office supplies over the last twenty years. No longer do you have to purchase paper and toner for the machine. No longer do you have hire a fax machine repair man when it breaks.
The other big savings is in time. You no longer have to get up out of your seat and go to the fax machine to retrieve your fax. No longer do you have to print up the document that you’re going to fax on the copy machine, and then take it over to the fax machine to send it. No longer do you have to dial the number, wait for the number to connect. No longer do you have to figure out the correct way to put it in the machine. And when it doesn’t work, you don’t have to find someone in the office to show you what you’re doing wrong. It’s super easy.
