The modern workplace does indeed fall under the adage “time is money.” That’s because the more time you can save by switching to new online fax technology and other updates, the more time you can put toward growth and success as a business. If every time an employee sends a fax, he or she must print the document, get up, walk across the office, wait to use the machine, and wait for the machine to go through, this is a lot of time that they could use on more profitable tasks.
Internet fax alleviates all of the wait time and gets straight to the essence of faxing: delivering communication quickly and directly to a client, customer, or business partner. With GoFaxer’s fax to email system, you can fax directly from your office computer without having to waste any time moving about the office and getting distracted. Our easy-to-use interface also speeds up the process. And, since your fax is sent via the internet, there’s never any busy signal. GoFaxer will take care of it by sending the fax as soon as the line is open.
Our internet faxing system is easy to use and has proven effective for countless businesses just like yours. We work hard to make faxing as effective as possible. Let us do the faxing for you, so that you can get to work.

As I’ve stated many times before, the floundering economy means tough times ahead for small business owners. Although there will be obvious efforts to cut costs, including ditching the fax machine for Internet fax technology, there is one major advantage that many employers are forgetting.
Now is the perfect time to hire. Why? Business is the art of upgrading your team. And the jobs market has been flooded with possible new hires. This means that you’ve got a new selection of potentially great employees. It’s a buyers market for hiring.
Bloomberg.com reports that the U.S. lost 80,000 jobs in March. That’s 80,000 potential new hires that have flooded the market. Now, granted, a lot of them may not be great picks, hence their firing, but a some of them may be really great people that just found themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Even though your own P&L may not be looking great, now may be the time to let go of a few low performers, while hiring a few really great new players. Restructuring can be painful sometimes, but now is probably the perfect time to do it. If your current set up is working well, don’t go kill the work horse, but if you’ve got problems it’s time to find some new blood.

Email fax is many things. It is a new method of sending faxes for the computer age. It is a method of sending documents through the Internet line rather than through the phone line. It is a way of sending documents without using paper.
With the computer age having fully taken hold of the Western world, modes of communication are moving faster and faster. In the olden days, you had to send a physical document to another place, either by car, plane, train, or boat. Then the fax machine allowed users to send documents through the phone line in minutes.
Then the Internet reshaped the world. Everything moves in a matter of seconds. Fax technology has been replaced by the Internet. Now businesses send faxes through online services. These services can send a fax to a traditional fax machine, while allowing their customers to send and receive documents online.
One of the biggest advantages of email fax technology is the fact that it doesn’t require the use of paper. Not only does this save companies an enormous amount of money, but it also allows businesses to be more efficient. As soon as you take the physical document out of the equation, having digitized it, the document can be moved and be sent with enormous ease.
The Internet has changed the world, and it has changed the way we fax.

I recently found a great old New York Times article from the 80’s that demonstrates a problem with fax technology:In the article, Peter Lewis says:
“Imagine if a loud and abrasive stranger walked unannounced into your office, slapped you on the back, asked you to stop working while he made a sales pitch, reached into your desk drawer for a pen and piece of paper, then asked to borrow your phone for a few minutes. Worse, suppose he dashed from the room before you had the satisfaction of throwing a paperweight at him.”
He then suggests that this is the same as receiving unwanted faxes. None of us want spam, but it’s even worse when it comes in the form of fax due to the cost of paper, toner, ink, repairs, etc.
Thankfully, Internet fax reduces the risk of this. You can get your faxes from an Internet service that delivers the fax as an attachment to an email. You no longer have to worry about the fax machine being tied up with delinquent marketers who are insensitive about fax expenses. You can control your faxes thanks to the modern upgrades of this technology. Hooray for the Internet.

I am a modern man. I like everything as convenient as possible. Consequently I’m tied to my laptop. My entire life seems contained on my beautiful white MacBook. I love it. I can work from the office, home, the coffee shop, the park. It’s a wonderful way to live.
But in order to do business there is still the requirement that one have access to fax technology. I don’t want to carry around a fax machine with me wherever I go. And if I am working from home, I don’t want to miss that important fax.
It’s for this reason that I’ve come to love my Internet fax service. I check my email consistently throughout the day, and I can check it anywhere as long as I have Internet connection, which is pretty much everywhere now. And I can be confident that I’m getting my faxes through my email. And I can send fax through email as well.
The next time I’m eating lunch at the local bagel shop, which I enjoy, and one of my customers calls me and asks for that fax, ASAP, I can send it to them then and there, thanks to modern technology. I don’t know how the caveman ever survived?
