You’ve probably seen that coworker who has not embraced the new paperless millennium. You look at her desk and it’s covered in papers. She prints up every email she gets. She looks cluttered.
Now, maybe her methods work for her, as she claims, but they are behind the times. Modern companies are understanding the huge cost of paper and office supplies. The more that each coworker can organize their entire operation to a single computer, the more efficient they will be both in time, and cost to their company.
This is why so many companies are turning to email fax as a new way to avoid using fax machines. These machines were revolutionary for their time. They enabled people to send messages and documents over long distances in a matter of minutes. No more need for the mail. But in the nineties that all changed, with the advent of the Internet and email.
Nowadays, a few minutes to send a document is still too long. We can send it in seconds. It should be easier; it should be faster; and should be less expensive. This is what the market demands because your competitors are doing it.
So it’s time for all of those paper-reliant workers and businesses to make some fundamental changes to the way that they do business.

Fax technology was a great technology. That is, up until about 10 years ago when the world discovered the wonders of the Internet. We discovered that sending a fax through telephone line seemed almost archaic.
Suddenly, we weren’t content just having one line of communication with another human being. We discovered that we wanted multiple avenues of communication open at the same time.
We discovered that we wanted multiple windows open on our computer screen giving us the latest stock quotes, the latest news on the presidential election, a podcast downloading through iTunes, Internet radio playing music, our homework assignment for business school on a Word document, and finally, a financial analysis from work on an Excel spreadsheet. We wanted multiple applications up and running all at once, giving us a constant feed of information.
So you can imagine how frustrated we get now when we can only send one fax through the phone line at a time. But now technology has fixed that problem as well. Through fax to email services we can send and receive multiple faxes at the same time. It’s just like the Internet—constant, mobile, and simultaneous. It’s the wave of the future.
So it’s time to switch from the technology that used to be great to the one that’s great now.

A new Ezine Article by Phil Anderson pointed out some major frustrations with the traditional fax machine:
“Papers jam, incomplete transmission, unreasonable engage tone, and worst of all, the problem that follows after the breakdown: expensive repair and maintenance cost.”
He then points out some major conveniences with fax to email services:
• Cheaper
• More reliable
• Eliminates major problems, such as paper jams and incomplete transmissions
• Eliminates cost of extra phone line
• Low maintenance cost
• Easy file management
The simple fact of the matter is that in every category, Internet fax beats out traditional fax. It’s a no brainer for any company. GoFaxer is an excellent service for any business, particularly a small business, looking to convert to this wonderful technology.
On the other end of the fax, it looks just like any other fax sent from a fax machine. You can send a cover letter and everything. But the convenience comes on your end. You simply scan the document, log onto your GoFaxer account, enter the fax number, type in the cover letter, and then send the document. Viola! It’s easy.
And did I mention that you don’t even have to download any software onto your computer to use this service? All you need is an Internet browser and your good to go.
The facts are simple. Fax to email avoids the hassles once associated with a great technology. Internet technology has made faxing easier.
