Sometimes life has a way of throwing you challenges that you didn’t quite expect. Take Roger and Lisa. After several years of trying to get pregnant, they finally got their wish. But to their surprise, they discovered that not only would they be having a new baby—they’d be having three new babies.

Roger is a Business Manager for a large company. He’s got enormous work responsibility. But it was apparent after the babies came, that three infant newborns was more than his wife could handle alone. Trying to manage sleeping in between feeding three hungry babies was running Lisa ragged.

Thankfully, Roger had a very understanding employer. They arranged for him to work at home several times a week, allowing him to assist his wife in watching the babies, while she could get some sleep. Roger used this time to get caught up on his emails. Thankfully, he also had email fax and a cell phone.

He found that his time away from the office was actually a beneficial thing for his job. He was free from co-workers interrupting him, a common problem at the office.  Thanks to technology, his time away from the office was a good thing for his job and his family.

No one likes to work weekends. I certainly don’t. But the fact of the matter is that sometimes it’s necessary to stay competitive with your customers. Some of you may work with customers that are open for business on the weekends and they don’t want to wait to hear from you until Monday.

If you’re going to work on the weekends, you may want to try working from home, assuming that there aren’t too many distractions. Maybe you want to catch the game, while catching email. Maybe you can eat lunch with your family while catching up on that paperwork. It’s not ideal, but if it really means not having to go into the office, spending time with the family, and reaching your goals for your career, maybe it’s worth it.

Of course, faxing can be tricky when you’re lounging on the sofa in your TV room, away from the convenient supplies and machinery of the office. It’s for this reason that email fax is the perfect service for your company. You can send or receive that fax while watching the game through your email.

As I said, no one likes working weekends, but if you must, make it easy with email fax.
